Welcome to KingsWood Day Nursery

At the heart of our small, private day nursery is the philosophy:  "where becoming an achiever is inevitable"

Every child, and person coming into KingsWood will thrive, and will achieve. The KingsWood team provide the environment, relationships, curriculum and opportunities that make achieving inevitable.

The KingsWood team are ambitious for all children to ensure everyone is nurtured, challenged and supported to thrive.

We are able to care for your little one, Monday-Friday, 7.45am-6pm, 49 weeks of the year (closing a week in May, August and over the Christmas period, plus all bank holidays) Come and meet our team who have secure, trusting bonds with all children, and their families supporting wellbeing and confidence.  We are looking forward to nurturing your child in our cosy converted old school building on the Dorset/Hampshire border in the rural village of Alderholt, Near Fordingbridge.

Your child will create memories they will treasure for a lifetime. From wiggling tiny toes in mud, finding and hatching dragon eggs, building fairy houses and digging war trenches. Your child will learn valuable life skills, independence, resilience and experience the magical childhood which every child deserves.

You cannot miss our Mongolian yurt on the field and our woodland classroom opposite.

To all the KingsWood team, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you for the amazing care you have given our girls over the years and still continue to give to T.

We feel so lucky that your are part of our day to day family life. T is loving her extra time at nursery, talking about it a lot more at home and M is really enjoying school, and so much of that is due to the care and incredible amount of hard work that you all put in to making her so happy and steady. When I am at work KingsWood is absolutely where I would like them to be, and it is where I recommend anybody to place their children. As a family we love the girls learning journals, and T and M especially love sitting down and sharing them with us. For me they are such a great way to remember their development, especially in those months after T was born and everything became a slight blur. We probably haven't mentioned enough how much we really appreciate all your hard work and care. But we really do appreciate it. Thank you
